The 2017 YES (Selkirk, Ettrick & Yarrow) Festival, which took place over tyhe 12th to 17th September. The bi-annual arts event took place at venues in the Valleys and Selkirk, including The Haining, The County Hotel, Selkirk town square and Bowhill House. The event included dance, the visual arts, moving image, outdoor theatre, live music and poetry.
A open reading session, at The County Hotel, of the entries for the festival’s third Poetry Challenge, inviting writers of all ages to compose new work in response to the theme - the Water's Edge.
